Working with Melissa was one of the highlights of our wedding – I can’t recommend her enough!

When we were looking for a photographer for our special day – we scrolled through a lot of Instagram accounts and websites – and Melissa quickly made the top list. Her style was exactly what we wanted – relaxed yet rustic yet emotional – and importantly – fun! We then had a great initial phone call with her and she went through every part of the day in detail – asking us lots of questions about our backgrounds, our personalities, our style and importantly, what we wanted out of our photography from the wedding. Her professionalism, thoroughness, and eye for detail was exactly what we wanted to reassure us that she was indeed the right fit. We also did an engagement shoot (highly recommend!!!) which was our first time meeting face to face. This was such a fun afternoon with lots of laughs and guidance (for two slightly camera shy people!) and she snapped some absolute gems – that afternoon was probably one of my favourite moments in the (manic) run up to the big day – so I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Before the wedding day, we had spoken a few more times to go through the order of the day and I had introduced Melissa to our videographer (while also asking for advice on smoke bombs!). On the day, Melissa arrived completely calm and collected and immediately got cracking with taking some wonderful photos of the venue. We can say that perhaps the girls getting ready room was quite a stressful environment that morning, and alongside our videographer, Melissa jumped into problem solving mode to help save the morning. We went into a different room (she carried loads of my stuff as well as all her gear!) and helped calm me down. Not only did she save the day then, she also supported my fiance with organising the ceremony space and making sure that all the aesthetics were right for the most perfect photos.

Melissa captured so many gorgeous photos throughout the day – in exactly the style we had hoped for – and with such a calm, friendly, welcoming manner – truly making her my favourite person we worked with for our entire wedding. We had our previews within 24 hours so we could do that cheeky IG post before jumping on the plane for our honeymoon, and the full gallery was ready sooner than expected. Not only that, the albums and print outs (with the USB) were absolutely gorgeous and such a wonderful keepsake. We are truly delighted with how everything turned out and we couldn’t be more happy for choosing Melissa to capture our special day. She is a wonderful person and as an OCD, perfectionist, bridezilla with extremely high expectations – I sing her highest praise. Book her now, you really won’t regret it.

As soon as we had our first meeting with Melissa, we knew straight away that she was the photographer for us.

From the first meeting to the day, she really made us feel at ease and comfortable. On the big day, Melissa made us both feel so relaxed and really at ease with the camera.

Something that we absolutely loved is that it didn’t feel like at any point we were away from the day or our guests for any long periods of time, yet we were still able to get so many amazing couple shots. It really was the perfect balance!

Following our wedding, we were blown away with the sneak peek pictures we received less than 24hrs later. There was such a variety of amazing shots throughout the whole day!

And then of course our final gallery!! WOW, Melissa really captured our whole day from every angle and we really couldn’t be any happier!

We can’t recommend Melissa enough, and we can’t wait to have her capture our future life events!

I found Melissa’s photography page whilst early in wedding planning and I instantly fell in love with the style of photography.

Our wedding was Saturday and I cannot begin to explain how thankful that Melissa had availability for our day! Melissa was so friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. My husband doesn’t usually like being in front of the camera but he felt so comfortable with Melissa’s casual and candid approach to the photos. Even during our couple’s portraits we both felt comfortable and laughed through them all!

We received so many previews the day after our wedding – we couldn’t believe how quickly these were sent to us! The photos truly captured the pure love and joy that was felt on our day and we cannot wait to receive all of our photos back.

I would recommend Melissa to anybody looking for a photographer – I cannot wait for more opportunities to hire Melissa and her talents again in the future!

I can’t thank Melissa enough for capturing our wedding in Winchester. From the second she turned up at my house for bridal prep shots – she made us feel so at ease and the morning flowed as normal and everything ran on time. My worry was that I would have to pause getting ready for shots – this was not the case! She got the most perfect shots without even knowing she was doing it! She felt part of the bridal party – so helpful doing tasks around the house to make us all at ease!

Melissa managed to capture every part of the ceremony and reception.. and somehow managed to be in multiple places at once! There is no facial expression or moment that was missed. Absolutely faultless.

My friends and family all complimented how lovely and friendly she was.

Myself and my husband didn’t want many ‘staged/posed’ – she listened to us wholeheartedly and we have received our dream photos, full of natural facial expressions. Just fabulous! Can’t recommend enough!
